Hi,
I need to upgrade from CentOS7 to RockyLinux9.
The documentation:
https://zimbra.github.io/documentation/ ... eplication
talks about adding new ldap-servers.
However, this has failed for me.
Likely, because there is no replication-agreement between the new servers - they still list the old master-host (from which I seeded them) in their agreements.
There's this document:
https://wiki.zimbra.com/wiki/LDAP_Multi ... eplication
But it hasn't been updated for a long time and I'm not sure if it still applies.
Also, the documentation kind-of neglects to mention that you need to choose a different server-id for the new mmr replicas - else they will likely have the same as the one of the current servers (the default is 2 and it never gets changed automatically).
Has anyone done this?
In theory, the installer should take care of the replications agreements - but I don't think it does.
