My question however was a bit different, I'm just wondering about the timing of what happens, it almost seems like a man in the middle setup.
I rarely sign online contracts and just after I did a while back, I started getting the fake emails asking me to sign more online contracts.
I don't think my system is compromised otherwise, they would not be phishing on me but could it mean that the sender might be either compromised or there is a man in the middle? It's just too coincidental but then again, looking up 'ways to peel lemons' and getting lemon ads a while later is about the same but no attachments.
