Hi Zimbra Community,
we are currently considering developing a drag and drop extension for the Zimbra WebUI in the browser.
In this regard, I would be interested to see if there is any interest from the community.
The plugin should include the following features:
- Drag and drop attachments from emails, appoiintments... into Windows Explorer or another application
- Drag & drop elements such as emails (.eml), contacts (.vcf) and appointments (.ics) into the
File system
Supported OS: Windows 11 and also in the first step only for the Zimbra Classic UI.
Is this something other Zimbra Users really want or do you say if someone wants to have Drag and Drop they should use Outlook?
Are there any further features you see necessary to implement in the Drag and Drop Plugin/Zimlet?
Just for reference we also developed a similar Plugin for the Email Solution Kopano: SiKoDaD. This is also a reason why we are considering to create such an Extension for Zimbra.
